Abortion is an act in which the embryo, or fetus, is removed in in order to end the pregnancy process. It is more common for those (in most cases) who are too young, have an unstable job, or is not ready for a baby to get an abortion. Yes, sex brings pleasure and allows lovers to be intimate, but is it worth it killing a human just for that? Do do not have sex if you’re not ready for a baby.
Getting an abortion is not a decision that can be made within a few seconds, it requires a lot of thinking. Making a pros and cons list is one way to make a decision. No, not once, not twice, but three times. She called me up one night and explained how she had sex with her boyfriend (ex now) plenty of times and always thought to herself “Nah, the chances of me getting pregnant is unlikely and plus no protections feels so much better.” Little did she know, she would become pregnant about 2 weeks after losing her virginity. My parents are going to disown me knowing I betrayed God. I’m only 16 and I’m not even out of high school, yet alone have a job to support my baby. Please, Vy, help me find a solution. Not telling my parents is one thing, but getting an abortion is worse.” As she spoke through the phone, I noticed her breath began to get heavy and her words sounded desperate. She did not even tell her boyfriend that he was becoming a father. I did a lot of research that night and found it best if she kept the baby. What’s the point of asking for my advice and then do the exact opposite? You know your parents are very religious.
