arenthood is an organization dedicated to helping teens and adults who plan -or have not planned- on having children. Planned Parenthood provides services like testing for certain things such as, pregnancy, STD’s, AIDS, etc, which are low cost and sometimes free. Plan B is a pill taken after intercourse, which prevents individuals from getting pregnant. Many people seem to have the notion that abortions are bad, do you? There has been a total of about 405,052 abortions since January 1, 2017 and one occurs every 30 seconds. Foothill students gave their opinion on how they feel about abortion, Planned Parenthood, and Plan B; which showed a balance between pros and cons about the matter.

“I think abortion is awful because some people would like to adopt young babies, because the parents don’t want them.” -Anonymous.

“Planned Parenthood isn't just about abortion, it provides a wide range of variety services to men and women. It also offers informational pamphlets and free birth control. The best part is that they are discreet.”- Candice Magana.

“My opinion on abortion is if you’re not ready to have kids you shouldn’t have sex. Why kill a child because you weren’t ready to have kids when you had sex.” -Kenneth Powell.

“I just don’t agree with abortion it’s not the baby’s fault you had unprotected sex. I don’t think you should abortion the baby there are other ways like adoption.”-Anonymous.

“Abortion is a horrible action and you shouldn’t be getting a regretful idea when you’re already pregnant and should’ve thought ahead of time” -Robert l.
