Recently, it has been known that the Trump administration is helping states to defund Planned Parenthood. In January the government had decided to make, the decision of rescinding guidance from the Obama guidance. This way the Obama administration's previous choice of healthcare will be reversed, and make it easier for states to defund the non-profit organization. This is due to the fact that the Trump administration is heavily influenced by Republican ideals—which includes anti-abortion practices—that can be backed up by the Trump previously signing a legislation that “nullified an Obama-era rule that effectively barred state and local government from withholding federal planning services to groups that provide abortions.” However, Planned Parenthood is much more than an abortion clinic. Planned Parenthood provides reproductive healthcare that includes contraceptives, sexual care, cancer screening, sexual education, and family planning. Even though anti-abortion groups are raving happily of an apparent success, defunding Planned Parenthood will bring more consequences than a payoff. …show more content…

The numbers are inflated to an outrageous percentage and with a conniving
