Out of all the controversial topics that have been vehemently debated for years, it is no surprise that the funding of organizations such as Planned Parenthood has been near the top of the list. The seemingly endless struggle over what is seen as "the right thing to do" has caused a metaphorical line to be drawn in our society. The flexibility allows for patients to receive attention regardless of their household income or health insurance provider. Detracting government funding could cause the organization to begin accepting privatized donations. With an unguaranteed budget, the organization’s foundation could become unstable which may consequently lead to the disbandment of the program altogether. If the program were to end, millions of americans could lose access to the only form of healthcare available to them.
