For ACT test tutoring companies that have their own 'learning centers' you will need to consider investing a significant amount of time driving to and from the lessons. This can really become a burden on parents, and that is assuming that a student's busy schedule will allow a lot of time evenings and weekends to attend classes.
If a student can last through long one to two hour tutoring sessions after they have already spent a full day in school, it is usually a matter of time before they tire of the classes and begin to just go through the motions because "mom and dad spent so much money on this." What this becomes is neither what a student thought it was at first nor what they would choose for increasing their ACT test score.
