It is basically survival of the fittest. Giving animal’s rights should be necessary only if they are being abused. For example, forcing dogs to fight other dogs till one is dead. If the animals are killed for our basic human needs than it should not be wrong. I agree with Bob Stevens in his letter to Rifkins when he mentions the fact that pigs would get toys even though there are human beings in the world who do not have such things.
A life is a life, i think that every living organisms on this planet that are breathing are important and we all should treat others with respect and with love. Animals are like us, not physically, but they can feel pain and lonely when we mistreated them in some ways. I believe humanity has the ethical obligation to change their behavior towards animals. In the article, “ A change of Hearts on Animals” written by Jeremy Rifkin stated some of his key points that humans should focuses more on animals’ feelings.
Animals are great and make our lives better but when they are suffering and all we can do is extend their pain for a few months and pay thousands of dollars it just isn’t worth it. Americans nowadays spend money on tons of things that aren’t worth it, but spending thousands of dollars on dying animals is ridiculous. Furthermore, people even treat their animals as family like for example “Eighty-Three Percent refer to themselves to as their parents pet’s mom or dad” (The Last Meow). As a former pet owner I can say that it is ridiculous how people consider animals as their family and use that to justify spending thousands of dollars to keep them for a few months longer.
Over the years, the diminishment in the overall health of our planet has not gone unnoticed. The concern for natural resources, pollution, and global warming are all widely talked about topics with no real solution to them in sight. We all want to eliminate our carbon footprint in whatever ways we can, but nonetheless the problem with that is most of us aren’t even aware of what is causing so much damage to the environment. Whether you want to believe in it or not, animal agriculture plays a huge role in these controversial topics. Globally, we all enjoy animal bi-products in our diet, but do we really know how much of our resources are being used to provide us with that luxury and the toll it is taking on our environment?

Some of the animals that you see in zoos are not always born in captivity. They can be taken right out of the wild as well. Although zoos are fun to visit, animals should not be held in captivity because the breed can become overpopulated, they do not know how to survive on their own, and they are being abused.
Nothing is wrong with bringing a terrifying hairy 6 ton mammoth back from the dead, right? I believe that raising extinct species from the dead is a dreadful idea. Many examples are from disease carriers to environment changing. This was to shows how some of these animals would be hunted if they were come back to life.

Did you know that everyday an animal dies from abuse, starvation, sickness, and from the horrors of mills? I believe that animal abuse is monstrous. Mills are cruel and unfair. I want Petco to stop getting their animals from mills and to start giving them the right veterinary care. What your company is doing is traumatizing.

Food production counts for only one of the many injustices animals face daily. Although they have been proven emotionally intelligent, mankind views these entities as subservient and continue to harm them. People around the world have created organizations that work to ameliorate the treatment of animals. As the animal rights movement nobly fights to improve the conditions of these living creatures, daily human activities and the moral values of some prolong the acceptance of animal equality.
Rights are against the use of force and they are our primary if not only our means of survival. There is only one fundamental right: To live successfully, a man has to make his own choices as well as animals too (Roleff,2014,p.33). There is a huge difference between giving animals their rights which is less than human beings and not to give them rights at all. Animal Cruelty Have you ever wondered how much atrocious animal treatments are occurring around the world? The average number of animal abuse cases reported in the media each year is 1,920 according to a study conducted this year by Statistic Brain Research Institute. Moreover, a lot of animals struggle around the globe because they are often beaten, neglected and hunted, which forces them to fight for survival. Helpless animals continue to be exploited by humans and are still constantly being robbed of their lives. Thus, animal cruelty is the killing, exploiting and neglecting the needs of animals that are causing extinction and nonessential suffering.
Imagine coming home after a tough day and being greeted at the door by your furry four-legged friend wrapping itself around your legs with a smile from ear to ear. There is no doubt that pets bring about bundles of joy, but dogs also provide stress relief, motivation to get active, lessons on responsibility, as well as another reason to smile on a daily basis. We all want the best for our kids; it is obvious that owning a dog has never-ending positive impacts on a child’s life. Owning a dog reduces stress, teaches responsibility, encourages exercise, and provides unconditional love to our beloved children.
Animal Rights Some people assume that just because animals cannot speak that they cannot feel pain. It is not okay to torture living beings that have their own thoughts and breathe the exact same air us humans breathe. It is unjust and selfish to stand by and take no action while everyday hundreds if not thousands of innocent animals die without reason. No matter how much fur or how many limbs the creature has; it should be treated as equal as a person. A heart beat is a heartbeat regardless of the body it’s in.
Animal Lives Matter Animals are dying from millions of subjected tests every day. All these helpless animals can do is be used and wait till they are no use to us anymore. It is pretty sad one day it’s going to get to the point where the people test on ourselves. Just because scientists or college students need to find a cure for a disease or just simply anything does not mean we need to sacrifice the poor animals in this horrible way. Now there are only three main things to talk about which is people need to know how many animals have been tested on, the drugs that have been used on them and what to do to stop animal testing.
