Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purpose. Technology is making us more inhuman as more time passes. Technology is making us more inhuman because people are becoming less physically social. It’s led us to believe wrong things are okay to do. Technology is taking us away from being active. There are just so many ways technology is influencing us negatively. People are always saying technology is just so great it is opening up more opportunities. “Catfishing is unfortunately pretty common occurrence these days because the anonymity the internet provides is just too tempting for people who’d rather be somebody else (Hirschlag 1).” People in this generation are easily tempting and with what technology is providing us on the internet doesn’t help. People make new profiles on social websites everyday, but do we really know that what their profile says is really them? The answer is no, Catfishing someone is an example. Catfishing someone is to make a fake profile and start some kind of relationship with another person without them knowing the real person they’re falling for. Another way is people are using technology for bullying or sexting, but since it’s only through a screen they believe it’s alright to do. We all know what is morally right and wrong. Also kids are going behind their parents back using things on technology they know their parents don’t want them on. Technology is making us question moral values, and making us be less physically
