Viruses are some of the most horrifying diseases on the face of the earth. The bubonic Plague caused over 20 million deaths in Europe and H1N1 was the cause of over 12,000 deaths in the U.S. alone. The A.I.D.S. causing virus H.I.V. has infected over 30 million people worldwide. There is another virus that has the potential to be just as bad as these viruses, Ebola. We should care about the Ebola virus because it has no cure and is quite lethal. We should focus on Ebola because of just how dangerous it can become. The Ebola virus is nothing more than a scourge that can cause large outbreaks and has the potential to kill hundreds of people. Ebola is easy to spread and in east Africa where there is a current outbreak, they do not have proper medical care to treat there sick, and the lack of a cure is not helping either. We need to send our support to those who are in the infected areas in hopes of saving as many lives as we possibly can.

The virus is extremely deadly even without proper care. If we don’t stand against this horrible disease that has infested east Africa, how can we hope to stand against other viruses? If we don’t send better health care to the people of east Africa then how can we hope to cure Ebola? We need to help even if only to learn more about the virus and how to make a cure. There is no reason that we cannot send information on how to avoid getting infection to the problem areas of east Africa. How can we call ourselves human if we turn a blind eye on those who need help that we can easily supply for them. There is no reason to not send help to educate those in the problem areas, if we do we may even be able to stand against the horror that has been conceived on east Africa in the form of Ebola. It is time to take a stand for those who are suffering in east Africa. It is time to take a stand against the nightmare that is known as the Ebola
