As a direct result of our chaotic modern lives, we often overlook the multitude of blessings we have been granted. When we grow older, we are quick to disregard how lucky we were to have even made it this far in our lives. We ignore the consistently looming threats to our health as a child; we also forget that our parents were the ones that forcefully bashed the danger as soon as it was in sight. We often take our well-being during our childhood years for granted and neglect the lifetaking incidents that children around the world are forced to face everyday. Thus, I chose to use computer science to make improvements to our global health. Better global health is central to consistent human happiness and well-being. It also makes an important contribution to economic progress, as healthy populations live longer, are more productive, and save more. Society is incapable without healthy individuals, but it is even more helpless without experience. The reason we have been able to make such strong developments in regards to our medical field is because of our ability to collectively learn. We succeed when we have the experience, knowledge, and technology we need. However, as we approach the unexpected, we are continuously disregarding the importance of our blissful pasts, which are essential to developing solutions to problems that even the youngest members of our society face. As a start to this journey, I researched a multitude of diseases and disorders prevalent in the age group. I came across many complex cases that required a solution, but I also came across issues that may seem petty, but in fact, take thousands of lives every year.
