There are more than 465 shark species, and ‘only three are responsible for two-digit numbers of fatal unprovoked attacks on humans, the Great White, Tiger and Bull’ (Defenders of Wildlife, 2018). Most species of shark’s prey on other sharks, large fish, dolphins and seals, and human flesh isn’t one of them. But a theory of sharks is that they go off out of their ‘natural’ prey and chose to prey and attack humans, and some believe they have developed a ‘taste for human flesh’ and these sharks are known as ‘rouge’ sharks. On the previous survivors of shark attacks and knowledge learnt about has persuaded my opinion to kill rouge sharks but depends on the situation and what the family or survivors wants.
Great White Sharks are highly efficient

In Australia, there was only 1 fatal death in Western Australia along with 11 injured in 2017 (Taronga, 2017). Compared to 1,277 road deaths in 2017 in Australia (Bitre.gov.au, 2018). Comparing rates of people dying on the road to shark attack victims is just wrong. There are over 18.5 million vehicles on the road in 2016 (Abs.gov.au, 2016) whereas, there is just over 2,200 Great White Sharks in the Australasian Ocean. There is an enormous difference between the amount of vehicle crashes on Australian roads compared to the amount of shark attacks yearly due to the significantly number of cars on the roads and the fewer number of sharks in the ocean. Although, hearing these statistics it makes people who enter the water feel safer and secure of not being attacked and limits peoples worries and concerns they should compare it to other statics that are highly unlikely to happen. Therefore, you are entering the ocean at your own risk and steeping into the apex predator’s territory and you should take responsibility for the attack occurring, but I do think that it should be up to the family or the survivor to what happens to the rouge
