Have you ever wondered what you would do if someone was pointing a gun towards you? For most people, this is not something that they want to, or ever will experience. However, for several people in the USA, and the world in general, this nightmare has become reality, and in many cases, especially in the last few months, these kinds of news often refer to the USA, and the disagreements about the gun control laws and mass shootings. The gun control laws in the US should be restricted to make a safer everyday life for everyone.
All around the world, the laws for buying any form for weapon in form of guns, firearms and pistols are different. Some countries have stricter laws, while others have less strict laws. The US itself, including all the …show more content…

Already from the beginning of this year, it has been 12 school-shootings in the US. The focus has particularly been on the Parkland-shooting in Florida where 17 students and teachers were killed, and 14 were injured. Comparing this to Norway, which has a stricter gun control, it seems like the loose gun-control laws in America, has a lot to do with these shootings. Looking at the statistics, you can clearly see that the number of school shootings in America has increased a lot since the 1700’s. Especially you can see that the numbers from the 21st century are much higher than they have ever been.
This unfortunately, does not mean that restricting the gun-laws will make the numbers decrease. Many people would have to hand in their guns, and for most people it will not be a problem to follow the new laws. However, as many guns there are in America, we can certainly say that not all of the guns will be handed in. Criminals may not hand them in, this can evolve into criminal actions, where civilians will not be able to defend themselves, because they do not own a gun. Therefor restricting the gun control, and taking the guns form civilians, may make it easier for
