Planning where you would like to travel for a vacation can be a hard decision. I know everyone wants to go to the latest attractions and follow all the trends. Traveling somewhere nice that fits all your expectations can be rewarding for you. However, for others, your decision on the place you wish to stay can affect them. With the increasing numbers of tourists, many have the desire to travel to Hawaii. Even though Hawaii sounds like the perfect vacation your stay in Hawaii may induce harm to Native Hawaiians and Hawaii’s natural environment.
I know you might be thinking by touring Hawaii you will be supporting their economy it's true Hawaii heavily relies on tourism but on the other hand it takes away an opportunity for Native Hawaiians to generate income for Hawaii. Booking hotels and airline tickets in Hawaii is pricey since big corporations that are not associated with Hawaii run these chains and benefit from Hawaii’s branding (Beat of Hawaii). This leaves Native Hawaiians unable to have local Hotels to bring in personal income for themselves since travelers purchase from big chains.
