Help Us Care For Our Babies

America is still one of the countries with the worst maternity leave program. My question is why are these men in power hindering our women as if they do not have their own wives whom birth their children? If women were to stop having children due to the lack of support from society our population would drop drastically. Our children are the future without them we would be at a lost. Not to mention women have become the primary breadwinners these days, “Forty percent of all households in the U.S. with children under the age of 18 have mothers who are the sole or primary source of income for the family, according to the Pew Research Center.”. Funny that in many other situations such as car insurance the government does not simply suggest that you have car insurance they implement plans to discipline anyone who does not have car insurance. You can be ticketed, your car impounded etc. From my experience working with different companies they do not actually care about their employees. These companies main objective is to make money and many companies view their employees as easily replaced. Very few companies will implement plans that support their employees and their families. Therefore women will continue to be opressed through this social injustice since no one will advocate their rights for them. Someone must take a stand for these mothers whom are too busy working and raising families to go out there and advocate for themselves. It is a sad day in America where women are still secretly oppressed and not cared
