Minimum wage should be raise do to the cost of living considerably gone all the way up. However education play a big role when it comes to minimum wage income, without any education many companies will start you off with minimum wage because the lack of education. Do I feel like this right? No, because when one do not have education do not mean they cannot get train to be equipped for the job. Sadly to say but school is not for some people now in days. I have seen people learn fast with hands on. Over the pass years I have seeing education increased, cost or living increased but minimum wage is not increased. A single mother who’s really trying to survive on minimum wage job will not make it. The living expense along are just too much for one person. So this will cause her to get a second job just to survive. In so many word it’s like R.I.P American!!!Raising the cost of living so high that both parents are always at work, rather than spending time with their children do the minimum wage they got to work to make end met.
Families who are working for minimum wage this become crucial to their well-being. Study has shown that many families average minimum wage worker earn half of his or her earning weekly. Here in Mississippi minimum wage is only 7.50 now you do the math for a single family’s home, this come out to be around 14,400 dollar a year for a single. This is not enough money. The worker who benefit from a minimum wage increase work full time and average from 20 to 30 hours a week. This is why I argue that minimum wage need to be increased so families can survive in this high cost
