If in 10 seconds the “Tsar Bomba” the largest Nuclear USSR bomb, dropped on the city of Columbus, Ohio, the estimated number of injuries would be 821,940. Along with 955,920 fatalities. Nuclear weapons don't just injure people and destroy houses and building they kill. At the end of world war 2 the United States dropped “Little boy” which was a uranium based bomb that killed an estimated 80,000 people in the city of Hiroshima in Japan. With this said Nuclear war has been debated consistently throughout our country since its been first introduced into the world. With Nuclear weapons being such a scary powerful threat, they have also been debated throughout the world and how to stop these horrific weapons. This is significantly ironic considering the trump administration really wants the removal or stop the making of these nuclear weapons in Iran and North Korea. No matter how low-yield an atomic bomb may be in can still kill and injure many people. In the article Mary, the author, explains how these weapons would be used “to make Russia think twice about using similar weapons.” The article also claimed that russia had said they could easily “escalate or de-escalate” with the production of these weapons. This however will not stop the making of these weapons and may even increase the production because of countries worrying about their safety.
