The first theme regarding Obamacare can easily be depicted from tweets such as an October 17th one that refers to the Affordable Care Act as the “product that never had a chance of working.” Or an October 14th tweet in which he described the law currently “being dismantled” because it “causes such grief and tragedy for many.” The official white house page echoes these sentiments and describes the Act as a “disaster” and something that should be “repealed and replaced” by a better, more affordable one. Many have criticized Trump’s overall use of Twitter as childish and “unpresidential,” which is true in many regards, yet when his tweets are oriented towards a topic like healthcare, it is clear that he is echoing the message that white house wants to send to the nation.
