The average household uses around 350 gallons of clean water daily, so imagine our lives without clean water available whenever we needed it. Currently, water is plentiful and we don’t give a second thought to how often we actually use it in our day to day lives. Every day we use water for cooking, cleaning, bathing, irrigating and other common jobs. It's hard to imagine citizens in the American are getting sick from water of all things, it should be processed food. Runoff water is one of the main source of contamination in water, when humans don’t properly disposes of chemicals its washed away by the rain and enters the water cycle where it end up in our drinking water. When topping off gas in a car, some the gas spills on the ground it's been proven by the EPA that accumulation of all those drops of oil equals a Exxon Oil Spill ever 2 years. The EPA proposed filtering the runoff water before it reaches the oceans as a solution. Local government disregarded the proposition. The problem lies with states budget to create new water treatment facilities by using the Cost-Benefit Analysis many states deemed it a project too expensive.It's a human right to have access to clean water yet the government too lazy too fix such a simple problem; building more water treatment facilities will create more jobs which would directly affect the economy; isn't that a good
