On wednesday valley as well as many others schools around the nation walked out against school violence. Many U.S. schools have fallen victims of school shootings where a lot of innocent lives are lost. School shootings have become a major problem for the U.S. because of the weak weapon regulation, indicators are being ignored, and students being bullied. Weapon regulation are weak and are one of the causes many school shooting and other crimes take place. For example in California you just need a background check, take a test and a “mental state” evaluation to get a permit. I think that weapon do need stronger regulations to slow the flow of guns, for example in the 70’s regulations were put in place so people will need to use their seat belt although the car companies and people fought against it this regulation has saved many lives, and i do think the NRA and some people will oppose. Although a large part of the weapons used to commit those crimes were bought illegally someone had to get that weapon legally and I believe stronger regulations could crack down on these people. I think that people nowadays only care about themselves and don't care to see what's going on around them or what the people around them are going through. Gavin de Becker a security expert says “people are reluctant to say anything because you fear it will stigmatize the child”. I think that people and teacher shouldn't worry about this because this cases should be taken care of with extreme discretion between the principal and parent and of course the person that has caught the
