Reported cases of suicide due to terminal illness have been on the rise. Today, there are (more than two, but not a lot of) terminal illnesses that badly bother our community. Key among these terminal illnesses includes cancer and (disease where blood sugar swings wildly). Adult patients have always thought about/believed the option of ending their lives to turn away/avoid the suffering that comes with the disease. Some of the methods used by patients in performing suicide are either personally started or Doctor-helped suicides. In all cases and laws according to most constitutions, it is illegal to end the life of a human being no matter the facts or conditions (that surround someone). Some medical experts argue that terminal illnesses expose patients to long years of pain and suffering before they eventually die, which is not avoidable, also, such conditions are very medically expensive as they use fancy (or smart) hospital equipment. In such cases, if a willing adult patient is convinced that early death will go a long way in turning away/avoiding these problems, then such a decision will be put into use by a doctor.

On the other hand, fighters (against someone or something) of suicide argue that the constitution recognizes the holiness of life and no one has the right to end the life of another person. They also argue that the times shared between the patient and family is treasured and cannot be taken away. In general therefore this debate has been screaming and acting violently on for at least 20 years now. This research paper analyses the meaning of doctor-helped suicide and its effects/results/suggestions. It also looks into the practicality of the process and arguments supporting its lawfulness. This paper will prove that doctor helped suicide should be (made something permitted by law) to allow terminally ill patient manage their own (the) unavoidable, already-decided future.
