Bent metal, shattered glass, and flashing lights… all for one text. Someone you love or even yourself could be in this life ending and life threatening situation. Cell phone use while driving is extremely dangerous. Texting and driving has been proven so dangerous and life threatening as many as forty-six states have gone as far as banning texting while driving. Many states followed the lead of Washington, by banning texting and driving(Distracted Driving Laws). These forty-six states are hopeful this law is will lower the death rate of texting and driving, however, this is only if the law is followed. Nearly all states include at least one category on police crash forms for distracted driving, this provides the best practice on the distracted driving data collection(Model Minimum Uniform...).
