During the past century abortion has been one of the most controversial debates in society. It discusses points including , religion , morality ethics and emotion. In most cases today , people on either side of the argument make valid points. No matter what a woman decides to do with her own body , laws that aren’t allowing a woman to make her own decisions reduces their abilities to choose how they live in society effectively.

Not just a woman's right to privacy but general rights privacy can be found in court cases as early as 1891, in the fourth Amendment , Fifth , Ninth Fourteenth , and in the Bill of Rights. These deaths can be prevented if woman had access to safe and legal abortions. The “FIGO Committee for the Ethical Aspects of Human Reproduction and Women’s Health” , says that: “Abortion is very widely considered to be ethically justified when undertaken for medical reasons to protect the life and health of the mother…” and, when looking at abortion for non medical reasons the Committee includes that “a woman’s right to autonomy, combined with the need to prevent unsafe abortion, justifies the provision of safe abortion” [1] In contrast, only “40% of Brazilian obstetricians and gynecologists are willing to help a woman requesting a safe abortion and only 2% were willing to provide the abortion themselves” [2]. A woman shouldn’t feel guilty for making the personal decision to end a pregnancy , and if not safely risk their lives. Many woman feel alone when considering abortion. It’s crucial for woman to have access to nonjudgmental options including safe and legalized abortions. Through many obsticals all woman and health care providers should be educated about contrecaption and safe abortions. Otherwise destperate woman facing any type of obsticals will continue to risk their lives undergoing unsafe
