Vaccines prevent more than 2.5 million deaths annually. In the past 60 years, vaccines helped eradicate one disease (smallpox) and are close to eradicating another (polio). Some parents believe that vaccines are harmful to their children causing their children to get ill or give them life threating problems. However vaccinations not only do they save lives they also protect the child from very deadly diseases that once took millions of lives. Any parents who do not vaccinate their children are not only possibly risking their child's life , but many others that are around them. Therefore all parents should vaccinate their children to save them and protect millions of others. Parents vaccinate their kids to boost there immune system and keep them healthy . Some parents believe that by injecting their kids with some of these vaccines could alter there child's immune system . But this is untrue Dr. Widerman of the American Osteopathic Association says" the real danger associated with vaccines is the unvaccinated child, who then puts these children, who are unable to get vaccines, at risk." . In fact, health care has seen resurgence of measles and whooping cough over the past few years.Doctors state ," While some babies are too young to be protected by vaccinations, others may not be able to receive certain vaccinations due to severe allergies, weakened immune systems from conditions like leukemia, or other reasons."So to help keep them safe you and your children who are able to get vaccinated are fully immunized. This not only protects you and your loved ones but ,also Immunization helps future generations by preventing and in some cases actually eliminating diseases that have killed or in some cases severely disabled people
