We should not have an honor code
Honor codes are something that students all get nervous of. We should not have an honor code because students will not follow the honor code. If we do have an honor code students might want to change schools or not even do what they are told to do since they will not like having an honor code.
First of all there is something that honor codes will not work for. They won't always help with stopping people who cheat. Honor codes will cause more distractions which means that people who cheat wont mind those honor codes. The students have to be willing not to cheat on their own. This is the only way people can be stopped from cheating. With honor codes there will be even more cheating since some students believe it is “cool” to do something that you are told not to do. Those students will than be doing it more often to attract attention. This could be just like some of the students at HHS where teachers will give curtain rules but their will always …show more content…

The honor code has to be a very well researched and put together code. With a good code there will be a strict school and this might begin to stop most of the cheating going on at schools. While many of the schools are seeing much cheating going on an honor code can be used to see if it can have a chance at stopping most of the cheating going on. “ in many American high schools, with roughly two thirds of students acknowledging one or more incidents of explicit cheating in the last year. This data of bad cheating in schools can probably be turned around with an honor code that is well developed to stop the cheating. Most of the people in the world has many college students entering the students with all of the bad habits of cheating which is something that with honor codes can be worked on from a student in preschool through all the rest of the school
