I started wanting to be pharmacist since it was very good profession in itself with a good salary. One other reason being my parents who were both working in the pharmacy gave me convincing talks about that job. So I decided to give it a try that is how I got into the internship program from my high school for shadowing a pharmacist in a Walgreens. There I learned how to be a pharmacy technician. From that experience I received my first pharmacy technician job at Rxperts Pharmacy.
This presentation was a pharmacist by Alyssa Joherl. I liked that being a pharmacist get paid about 120,000 per year which is a little more than 2x the amount of the average range. Pharmacists also have many related occupations just in case you wanted to do something related but not a pharmacist. What I disliked about this career I did not like how you have to go to college for longer and might have to deal with not so nice patients. A similarity I found between pharmacists and animal trainers is that you have to administer medications.
Therefore, I am really intrigued to explore the institutional settings since it seems that it is where the pharmacists get to apply their learned knowledge to the maximum effect. Additionally, the patient interview left me with a somber feeling. I feel disappointment about L. N. pharmacy experience. As a future pharmacist I would want my patients to feel comfortable to approach me at any time they have questions about their prescription medication therapy or OTC recommendation. This experience alerts me to being more attentive to patient’s nonverbal cues and encourage them to ask

Science has an effect on everything that occurs in our life. Some children like myself, have a natural curiosity and love for science that could go unnoticed until later in life. I could remember myself as a young child venturing off from my toys to go exploring in my backyard. I would do things such as dig holes and catch animals. These animals could vary from ladybugs, worms, love bugs, and even lizards.
Mathematics has a huge impact and effect on the medications that people use every day. Furthermore, it is an outstanding at helping during calculations. Some examples of calculations of medicine would be: the volume of the saline solution required by the patient and the doses of drugs administration per person (Carroll 1993). Pharmacists use mathematics when they administer medication and prescriptions (Carroll 1993). The subject of math is used in medicine to measure the amount of doses that are given to the average person as well as enhancing those dosages into the medicine cups (Carroll 1993).
