If I could have any career, I would want to be a Trauma Surgeon. I choose this career because I am fascinated by the human body and its functions. I had found this interest when I was a freshman in high school. My sports medicine teacher taught me the the good that the human body contains and what all it can accomplish. So I signed up to be in an athletic training program and help athletes injured.
Hi, this is Maggie Ganley. I hope everything's going well this year and none of your students are driving you too crazy. I can say that this school year has definitely been a whole new experience for me. The adjustment to college has been an interesting one but it's getting easier as time goes on, even if my calculus still class drives me crazy from time to time (the adjustment from high school Algebra II to college Calculus is a bit of a stretch).

Pharmacy Techs and Pharmacists may sound similar, but are ultimately two very different occupations. Pharmacy Techs usually assist the Pharmacists in completing roles such as filling prescriptions and aiding customers. They play a big part in pharmacies being that they are to make sure everything is correct and as it should be with the medications. They often have to check the prescription multiple times to make sure everything is accurate. Pharmacy Techs help out with a lot of the time-consuming tasks the Pharmacists may not have time for and are not able to dispense any medications on their own.
The profession I have chosen to pursue is that of a Physician Assistant. My reason for this selection is because it gives you the independency of a Physician while having somewhat less responsibilities. A Physician Assistant provides healthcare services typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician. Some of these services include but are not limited to examining and treating patients, diagnosing illnesses and counseling patients. In some case physician assistants are also tasked to prescribe medicine to patients.
Veterinary technicians also have many different jobs other than checking weight and making sure nothing is visually wrong with the pet. They also do dental cleaning, occasionally take blood and stool samples for the veterinarian (Pearson). People think vet technicians don’t do a lot of jobs but adding up everything they do on a normal day basis, what they are required to remember,
When people grow up, they always dream of being successful and becoming something important, such as a doctor or a nurse. My childhood and present-day dream is to become a Veterinarian Technician. I chose this occupation because of my passion for animals and my big heart. This career consists of multiple tasks being asked of the person, and being able to multi-task and have multiple skills. Whenever people hear the words, “Veterinarian Technician,” they focus mainly on the Veterinarian part, if anything.
Keep in mind, there is a difference in the education level between a pharmacist and a pharmacy technician. Pharmacists must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), a 4-year professional degree and they must also be licensed, which requires passing two exams, while pharmacy technicians must have a high school diploma or GED as a prerequisite. Individual schools might have additional requirements. Programs for pharmacy technicians usually range from as little as 15 weeks to if two years, awarding a certificate, diploma or associate
I made the decision to become a pharmacist while I was in middle school. I believe that Pharmacists play a key role in helping patients feel better and get well as quickly as possible. Pharmacists play key leadership roles in all aspects of the healthcare system. Pharmacists can work in a myriad of professional settings I love chemistry especially organic chemistry. I heard that organic chemistry is very hard.
Working in different settings and meeting new people that need to be taken care of has always interested me. The job I want to have while I go to college is the very challenging role of a Medical Assistant. Due to the experiences that have happened in my life, I believe that becoming a medical assistant is the best career choice for me. There are many duties and responsibilities I will have as a medical assistant.
Pharmacy has everything I want in a career such as, people interaction, leadership opportunities, and continual learning. Pharmacist are constantly being challenged with unique situations. Every patient is different, and therefore every patient must be treated a particular manner.
If I could decide my future right now, this very second, I would definitely decide to become a doctor. I’ve always been interested in working in the medical field, and even more interested when I learned about all of the different specialties you can look into when becoming a doctor. One thing I love about becoming a doctor is the fact that there is an endless list of things you can do, which gives you the chance to find out what you’re really good at and love.
