I made the decision to become a pharmacist while I was in middle school. I believe that Pharmacists play a key role in helping patients feel better and get well as quickly as possible. Pharmacists play key leadership roles in all aspects of the healthcare system. Pharmacists can work in a myriad of professional settings I love chemistry especially organic chemistry. I heard that organic chemistry is very hard. When I started college, I got really interested in chemistry classes while working with equations, formulas, and solving problems. While I was a sophomore student, I did tutorial for other students and love teaching Chemistry. This experience helped me to form a more personal connection with the profession. I have also received an excellent experience in a large federal hospital by shadowing a clinical pharmacist. I could recognize that I have the right aptitude and dedication necessary to develop skills required for a pharmacist. I have been working as a part-time manager in a retail setting since 2016 which enables me to work with my customers professionally. I have successfully completed the course, "Pharmacy Technician" and received the licensure for Pharmacy Technician. The course materials and class work exposed me to many areas of pharmacy that confirmed my decision to become a pharmacist. I choose pharmacy as my career because I want to be an important member of the health care team. The collaboration of healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, can help to prevent drug errors and reduce costs.
