When many people think about Pit Bulls, they often get scared and want nothing to do with them. Pit Bulls are viewed as dangerous and scary. Spraying down the walls of the cement kennel, I thought about what might happen to all these wonderful dogs. My newfound buddy Francis, an adorable brindle Pitbull mix, licked my fingers through the steel bars of the next pen. He was a beautiful dog, with excellent confirmation and liquid brown eyes, but his dark color and breed gave him little chance at a forever family.
