Everyone is born equal, but racism is taught. One of the biggest issues in the world is racism, everyone thinks that their judgment is needed of someone's skin color. Innocent people are harassed by being born a certain color because of people's ignorance, but those people got through it with no guarantee of justice. Many cases in America have fixed the problems of racism in America because of experience their experience: Plessy vs. Ferguson, Brown vs. Board of Education, and Regents of the University of California v. Bakke. The Supreme Court has made life changing decisions, time after time, to impact equal rights: Plessy vs. Ferguson, Brown vs. Board of Education, and Regents of the University of California v. Bakke. In the year of 1896, the court case Plessy v. Ferguson made a huge issue of racism; segregation. The court upheld a Louisiana state law requiring public places such as hotels, hospitals, and restaurants to separate people by skin color. Because, the Supreme Court made a decision in Plessy vs. Ferguson that decided it was constitutional as long as they were separate but equal.
