The reason that this is an issue is because women are treated with disrespect and sometimes they are beaten or even killed. this problem needs to get solved because if it doesn't a bunch of people will die or even hurt by this problem. Why we need more surveillance, more sensitivity training and to have a community oversight. Why we need these things is because these will stop the problem completely or minimize the deaths or injuries caused by the police and limit police brutality.
