Police corruption can be defined as, the violation of state or federal laws, and violation of individuals’ constitutional privileges by police representatives. As well as, when police officials commit crimes for individual profits. Another well-known name for police corruption is police misconduct. Both police corruption and misconduct are labeled as a direct mistreatment of police authority. Reasoning behind the actions of captured or arrested police officers always fell under the sections of money, power and convenience.
