Political Advertisement Against Rick Santorum

The first political advertisement I found was a ad against Rick Santorum. This ad is showing how spending by politicians such as Rick have led to the increase of national debt which is now over $15 trillion. This ad is very bias and is against what people like Rick are doing to our nation. It is unfair to him as he not the only contributing factor to this debt. This ad is an example of the fallacy post hoc, because wasteful spending by politician 's such as Rick have caused the national debt to rise above $15 trillion dollars. The second ad I looked at was a picture of Marco Rubio with the words "Marco Rubio burned us. We can 't trust him again." His face and along with background are red and dark colored. This image is very bias because of the fact that we shouldn’t trust him for some reason. We are assuming that all people are bad if we don’t know them and that they shouldn 't have leadership roles of our country. The fallacy being used is hasty generalization, because we are assumption that he is not trustworthy because we don 't know him, there for should not run the country. My fourth political ad is a billboard advertisement that is a picture of a politician with his finger over his mouth saying "shhhh" It says "If cheating on your taxes is ok, so is..." And at the bottom it says "Life is short, have an affair." This ad is against people who cheat on there taxes or the tax system. The hidden assumption is that if cheating on your taxes so is cheating on your significant other. This is a weak analogy comparing two completely different things saying that the are the same and both are just as bad as each
