Post Secondary Considerations

It is very important to make the right decision when considering what to do after high school as it will affect the rest of your life. I want a career in professional hacking / Security analysing. A Professional hacker is someone who works for an IT firm, cybersecurity companies, and even the government. The function of a professional hacker is to use an array of hostile attacks such as: phishing, keylogging, modification attacks, denial of service attacks, email address hacking, cookie stealing, website hacking, javascripts, and brute force methods to find holes in the security of government and private servers. A professional hacker will then provide solutions on how to protect against similar attacks. In order to achieve this I intend on attending college for a Masters in Computer sciences and programming. This essay is to lay out my plan and back up plan for achieving this.

I will to apply to attend The University of Toronto for my undergraduate studies. The university is one of the best schools in engineering and computer sciences. I will apply for my graduate studies at Stanford University. I will apply for the Master's program for Computer Sciences at Stanford. A Master’s degree will take me two years on campus to receive. After spending a few years working in cyber security I would return part time for my Phd. The yearly tuition for Stanford University is 67,291 dollars a year. The average SAT score for a student attending Stanford is 2070-2350; the average ACT is 31-34; the average gpa is 3.9-4.0.
