Social Media is the central information hub for people who can access and connect to the internet. Google, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter are the new stage for essential of connectivity and communication for the new era. All news, opinions, ideas, views and debates about all provisions can be easily access through these social media sites, they are used to explore and discover any news in the world. The general public, especially the young generations utilizes it for personal, social and work purposes. A study USA in 2011 stated out of 3000 students,37% uses twitter and 90% uses Facebook (Dahlsotrm et al.). The public sees, hear and read only what they see and what others tell them, even people who had been patients does not fully understand what a nurse does because they only see the nurse during the course of their short interaction. They do not see what a nurse does in the background. Therefore when they want to understand this great and wonderful profession, they turn to their good friend, social media. In a recent report, 90% of the population aged 18-24 use and trust social media as their access point for health information. (Freeman, 2012). Social Media acts as the ground for common sense for most people, it played a major role in the contribution of nursing role, nursing image and future of nursing practice.
