Small bookstores are losing money due to customers purchasing today’s hottest technology. In today’s society, it appears that modern devices and digital conveniences are at our disposal making us less able to concentrate and are distractible. Is this hurting our minds and hindering our thoughts? I must say it’s making people lazier and they feel as if they can do things at the drop of a dime with technology. In the Web article, “Pros and Cons of social Media for a Small Business,” Laura Nunemaker spoke about the thirteen pros and the eight cons of social media in a small business. Some of the pros of a small business she lists are: the majority of your customers and clients are on social media sites, and that social media is more affordable than traditional advertising. Some of the cons Nunemaker list is: the sights are rented land, and social media is constantly evolving. Nunmaker made these lists to hopefully help clients and people decide if they would use social media for their businesses.
