1.) How much of an impact does social media have on the socialization of people that completed the survey?

The impact that social media had on the socialization of the people who completed the survey was varied but they all generally had a similar underlying view. Such a view is that regardless of social media's impact is positive or negative the truth is that social media has really changed the way that people are able to socialize. One of the key areas that this has happened is simply because of the fact that such a network allows for easier conversation. Such an aspect can be positive since it removes barriers to staying in touch or negative since people may feel bound to think such conversation is preferential to face to face discussion.

I would argue that when it comes to social media older people would be more inclined to feel that it has negative characteristics than younger people would. This is because many older people may resent the new technological advancements which are coming since they feel that such advances were not needed since "everything was already fine". Such a concept as this already has other parallels since historically speaking resistance to advancements in technology often has been held by older people.
