Organizations around the world, both big and small, face many management problems, what sets them apart from one another is how they deal with them. Organizations, who understand that a problem is not a negative and are able to see problems as opportunities, will be able to find solutions and garner success. Precision Chem-Dry of Las Vegas, one of those organizations, shows the potential for growth from the recently identified management problem, poor finances, and resource utilization. Before time is spent understanding how Precision Chem-Dry can become a success story by implementing recommended solutions, it is important to understand the organization, the problem it faces, and its needs.

Precision Chem-Dry, since opening its doors 20 years ago, did just that. The organization originally kept work accounts separate from personal accounts but when times were tough, funds were pulled from personal accounts to support the work accounts, thus leading to inaccurate depictions of the organizations real financial situation. Not far behind the co-mingling of accounts comes the mistake of not investing enough capital back into the organization, and this is very apparent with the age of Precession Chem-Dry’s old vans and outdated equipment. In the end, both of these mistakes can be tied back to the poor management of finances and resources, which ultimately put Precision Chem-Dry in its current state of failure.
