Organizations that use this technology successfully are known to outperform other organizations but cannot guarantee a competitive edge over those who do not. Rather, they must learn how to use the technology and market their brand. These advancements in technologies make the recruiting process easier because they are data-driven by targeted outreach strategies. Which in turn makes the selection process easier because Human Resources can now post job vacancies early and hire early. In addition to retention by showing who they are as an organization through their branding and providing competitive wages and benefits. It’s important to have a good first impression and show candidates who they are and be competent in their technology so candidates want to come work for them.

But they have never experienced the staffing and medical equipment shortages like they had seen since the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Healthcare organizations are new using data and analytics called workforce intelligence to assist with solving this issue. It provides the chance to analyze and plan, addresses the burnout crisis, and reduces the friction within clinician deployment. Workforce intelligence also allows organizations to always be ready by enabling care collaboration and optimizing economics by decreasing unnecessary delays to capture revenue and improve patient access to care.

A few of the critical issues in managing staffing and workloads are labor and budget cuts, this cuts staffing and increases the workload. Now a days workload may not matter because nursing at any level is stressful, and burnout is real. Other issues in nursing include turnover, recruitment, retention, the aging nurse population, union versus nonunion, nurse-physician relationship, diversity, and balancing quality and costs.
