Being the President of the greatest nation ever is no easy task, the person put in that position has been put on a pedestal no higher and they are viewed as the leader of the nation. In resulting in being in the public’s microscope, watching every move and decision they make. With being under the consent watch by the public and media, even the darkest secrets and controversial decisions that the President makes will come to the light. Both former President Nixon and current President Trump had, in which in President Trump’s case have, a controversy that looms over their presidency. President Trump became what many young people consider the “Kardashian of Politics”. The leader of the nation has been upon the public’s eye ever since his show called the “Apprentice” in which allowed him to become a name that began to sour in the minds of the public. It seems to be the sole purpose of the media is now to deliver all the Pres. Trump’s tweets to a national broadcast for the public can dissect. As soon as the President was put into office there has been an overwhelming pile of negativity upon the president. As Jennifer Harper states, “‘As President Trump approaches the end of his first 100 days in office, he has received by far the most hostile press treatment of any incoming American president, with the broadcast networks punishing him with coverage that has been 89 percent negative,’wrote Rich Noyes and Mike Ciandella, both analysts for Newsbusters.org, a conservative press watchdog.” This shows how much negativity the media tried to release upon the public and to put it into perspective what the media puts out the public blindly consumes and follows.
