The article focuses on how prevalent sleep disorders are among college students of different age, sex, and grade point average. Insufficient and untreated sleeping conditions can lead to many health concerns that alter a student's mood, health and ability to do well in school. Excessive daytime sleepiness is a common problem college students face because of biological and social factors. For example, living in a loud dorm room with friends is a social factor that prohibits an individual from getting sufficient sleep.
