Princess Diana Princess Diana of Wales was born on July 1, 1961 in England and sadly passed away on August 31, 1997. She was unlike most princesses and went against the boundaries and helped over and beyond for the people. She was fearless, and unlike many, not afraid to hold the infected and really get involved to make a change. Diana had become infatuated with him ever since he had dated her sister. Her sister and Charles had split up because she was talking to the media about him. Princes Diana started off marriage as a shy 20 year old, shy and insecure and barely educated woman but soon turned into the most-known women in the world who took on the British royalty (Rompalske 35). She won his heart when she comforted him when his grandfather was assassinated by the IRA. They were engaged in 1981 and married a couple months later.
