In the “Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” there are a lot of problems that Romeo and Juliet encounter, because of their love, which was love at first sight for both of them when they meet at a party(Shakespeare, 394). The main problem is the families the Montagues and Capulets, their families are in feud and Romeo and Juliet cannot be in love because their families will not only judge them but their families hate Romeo and Juliet, and maybe even banish them from being in the family or even hang them in a noose used at the time. The Montagues are Romeo’s family and the Capulets are Juliet's family. The Capulets servants Sampson and Gregory start a street fight (Shakespeare, 378). Then Benvolio and Montague and Tybalt a Capulet got involved and the Prince of Verona declares a death penalty for any further fights or feud between the families. Entirely there are a lot of bads things happen because of this feud. For example, Romeo gets banished. He kills Tybalt a Capulet because Tybalt kills Mercutio, his best friend. The Prince banishes Romeo so he can no longer see Juliet( Shakespeare, 428). Juliet than hears that Romeo was the one that died, it was all a misunderstanding, Juliet than knows the truth about what Romeo did for the love between the two of them. So she tries to get back at him by drinking a potion that will put her in a coma for two days, everyone will think she's dead (Shakespeare, 457). She tells the Friar to send the message to Romeo so he can come back and unbury her when she’s in the Capulet tomb, but Romeo didn’t get the message so the events just kept getting worse and worse. When Romeo gets there he thinks Juliet is dead, so Romeo then kills himself, Juliet wakes up from her coma next to Romeo and his dead body so she then stabs herself with a dagger and kills
