Coaching Career
October 1, 2014 is the day where all my dreams, hard work, and passion became a reality check, as I broke my arm. Always having in mind of how I wanted to become a professional baseball player and pursue it as my career, I failed to realize the injuries or obstacles I would come across down the road. So, I began to meditate on if all things failed in my baseball career, how could I still pursue my dream job? How could I still be involved with the baseball environment and use my intelligence of the game for a greater cause? At that moment, I knew there was hope.

Traveling without expenses to stress or worry about makes your trip enjoyable. Even though you’re on a business trip with your team, you get to acknowledge a different city and environment other than the place you call home. “I’ve been to different fields, cities, towns, and I get to bring home different experiences I never knew I would encounter in my life time. This Is one of the reasons I love my job”. (Coach Garcia) The experiences you will have as a coach and sharing those priceless moments when your team plays in a huge game and environment is what makes the job worthwhile. Although it sounds like all your time will be invested in your job and team, spending vacation time with your family will also be available. When summer time comes around, teachers and coaches have time off just as a student does.
