There are a number of reasons why teens are incapable of driving. Since teenagers are new to driving and are in the middle of puberty, their reflexes are surprisingly weak. Teenagers can also be stressed out about events in their life. It can be high school, relationship, their parents divorce etc. This can take their mind away from driving.

Teens are always excited to earn their license and drive out on the road for the first time, but not every time will be a success, it might also be their last.
Driving is apart of most teens, and adults lives for many years. There are many exciting moments from getting a license to cramming as many friends in into a car (Zermike 6-7). On the other hand there are terrifying moments from being involved in a car accident, to losing your life, and your friends life. It is important for teens to realize the responsibilities that come with driving.
Most teenagers whose families own a vehicle learn to drive even before the law allows them to. In such instances, they often opt not to enroll in any driving course or driving school because they think they already know the basics. Sadly, some parents even support this decision. For teenagers who want to drive on the streets, it is highly recommended that they undergo training under the supervision of a driving instructor.

Learning to drive is a privilege that I strongly believe teens should keep, and here is why. Driving is an extremely dangerous task, but if you teach people while their brains are still maturing, it makes the process simpler and safer. Learning at a young age to drive is much safer than learning when you are of an older age because your brain is still adaptable. You will be able to learn quicker because your growing mind haven't fully developed. That being the case, your brain is still malleable.
Driving allows one to have more freedom. Teens can go on dates and not have to rely on a guardian to drive them. Teens may want to get out of the house for a little while and driving allows them to be able to go for a simple drive or even a more complex drive to travel some place new. Some teens enjoy having a friends night, where they can be more in control by driving around with their friends it can make them feel more independent.
Teens practicing their driving more in general, as well as having more experience in potential serious scenarios, would greatly help the cause. Also, teens discussing serious local accidents can make them more aware of just how possible it is for this dilemma to become their own dilemma. A foolproof way to make teens drive more safely is for their parents to make them pay their own tickets and fines (#9). Ultimately, one of the biggest influences for teens is their family, and how their families drive is no exception. Passengers are a huge problem in regards to teen driving.
Everyone has freedom but how much depends on age. At sixteen you can get your license and drive yourself places which helps make that freedom more realistic. The key necessity to adulthood is freedom. Growing up going on road trips to see family upstate, I have always been excited to drive. Just knowing where driving can take people is amazing.
Driving, a major monument in every teenager’s life. They can’t wait to get that license and have that ticket to freedom. It’s their parent’s time to finally not have to chauffeur their children around to every activity they participate in. Your child just passed their drivers test, and you no longer have to worry about carting them around; seems great right? Think again.

Teenagers are the ones who mostly get into deadly crashes it 's also very risky to just look away for a split second the driver could go into a head on collision, with another car. The statistics show that they mostly happen at night because younger people think that there is no one else on the road. Also in 1999 there were 6,368 deadly car accidents involving teen drivers and 45% of them happened at night.

A study stated that almost thirty two percent of the fatal car accidents involve a person driving under influence or an intoxicated pedestrian.
Our lives are unbelievably valuable so we should do everything rational to avoid deaths. Nowadays, teenagers are specifically dangerous due to their recklessness and they are the ones that are more likely to commit car accidents. Delaying when they get their driver’s license, the roads will be more secure. If the age of driving is increased, the amount of car crashes will decrease. For instance, teens think that they’re fearless, which is why they take silly risks unlike mature drivers.
