The first thing is to not be afraid, don’t be afraid to go talk to anybody that you want to be friends with our create a bond with. In order to make friends though you have to be yourself. If you want to be friends with the “popular kids” be yourself and don’t try to act in a way that you wouldn’t act if you were around people that you are comfortable with. If you don’t act like yourself around people, they aren’t friends with you they are friends with someone who is trying to be someone they’re not. If you are being yourself around people you want to be friends with and they don’t accept the way you are, you should walk away and be friends with people who really accept you for who you are. Don’t be afraid to take risks, such as walking over to eat lunch with the kid that eats lunch by themselves everyday. This can lighten up both of your days and you might make a new friend.
