Interested in buying a truck that makes a statement about you to whomever lays eyes on it. Many people want to buy a vehicle that shows their personality, such as a sports car to show wealth or a 4x4 truck to show strength, but we are going to focus on just trucks for this conversation. It’s important that the driver loves the vehicle he or she is driving, so why not take the time to do some research and figure out the pros and cons to any truck that can be purchased. Also, knowing that a truck is a general name for a mass variety of them you can buy can be intimidating too. There are literally millions of trucks to choose from of all different makes and models. Some people think that trucks are only for men, but as of late it has become more of a universal trend for men and women. It is a good idea, I believe, for women to drive trucks for the simple fact they are safer than being low to the ground in a car. There are also people who think old truck are better than new trucks and vis versa, but this only depends on your preference. A 1995 F-150 compared to a 2017 F-150 is a huge leap in power and engineering and especially in price, but some people still prefer the older one. They both have a look that can describe any person driving it, with just a few modifications to represent self-reflection of the driver. Lastly, the age-old fight of which “BRAND” is the best of them all. It does not matter if you drive a Dodge Ram 3500, Ford F-250, or Chevy Silverado, they all have power and can show representation of the driver. Primary rivals are Diesel or Gassers, but both types are good for whatever you need. Diesels are primarily for hauling heavy loads or pulling large equipment, whereas gas trucks are more for travel and daily commutes. Also, some people prefer stock trucks over lifted, or modified, trucks. It is nice to have the original look to a truck because it is just a classic look and holds true to the Americas history tied to it, but also could this bring more money when deciding to sell it. However, lifted trucks have a look that brings an intimidation factor to the table. Power and stance are the primary reasons for one wanting to lift a truck, this could also bring more retail value to the vehicle. Although looks are important in the truck being purchased, so is the drive of the vehicle. A 4x4 or 2wd pick-up truck is another example of people being divided in types of trucks. The 4x4 trucks are good off-roading, pulling, and all around power, whereas 2wd trucks are good for commuting, speed, and fuel economy. These are just a few more things to keep in mind when purchasing a truck. Finding a preference is important, find a ‘clique’ that works best for the desired
