The United States has the most electricity produced as it has a high level of technology and plentiful supply of rivers. Africa and South-East Asia does produce little electricity because they have a lack of technology and high level of technology.

There are many advantages and disadvantages of hydroelectricity. Firstly, the advantages of hydroelectricity. Hydroelectricity is renewable which means that we cannot use it up which can be very helpful long term in the future. Hydroelectricity is also very environmentally friendly. The only pollution caused is just the construction of the power plants. Also, hydroelectricity is very reliable. The only way hydroelectricity can be useless, is if there was a drought across the world; not likely.
