The 26th President, Teddy Roosevelt had said his speech on 1908 at the White House to discuss the matter of conservation laws of America. He did this with the Congress so America won’t be polluted or so we won’t run out of resources to collect. Each Governor from each state had to agree with this so they all wouldn’t have to deal with pollution or the dangers of forest fires. From what the laws were then, America was using resources too fast and at that rate were going to run out of simple things like wood, coal, metal, etc. They were also very vital for evolution of the human race. Roosevelt said, “Every step of the progress of mankind is marked by the discovery and use of natural resources previously unused.” Every time we achieve something …show more content…

Since we were using up a massive amount of coal each year, we would have less cleaner air, a chance of the smoke in the air to start forest fires, and many other variables that would come into play. Also, using coal for multiple machines in a factory can be very hazardous. The machines could malfunction, causing an overload in energy which could end in an explosion. The air in the factory would also be basically fatal if not wearing the right protection. And if not using things like airlocks (which they didn’t have) it could spread to outside air and then animals would breath in the toxic air then die. Another major problem that uses lots of resources is buildings. Why waste resources to make more buildings for the price of one factory, when you can just use the resources (like we use them today) and not waste them to ruin the wildlife and a bunch of resources? Just be patient, and use them responsibly. Having too many buildings can be a huge problem. Like if you want a log cabin in the middle of the forest sure, no one else will be there but you, but you can use that open area to plant the trees back. Or, you can get rid of the buildings aren’t being used and use that land for planting trees or a
