Gambling addictions are among the most destructive of all addictions in the United State. People engage in gambling to get rid of their problems and stress. However, it ends up being a thoughtless splurge of money and a waste of quality-time. When a person keeps gambling it can get very addicting because people love to win. If they keep winning, they are not going to want to stop. The legality of gambling is a very big issue in our modern world. The removal of money from various industries often causes these businesses to go bankrupt, and eventually it creates unemployment for people. Many could argue that casino creates jobs, but many of those jobs doesn’t make enough to support their family. Another economic effects of gambling is that it creates the use of lotteries. Many states typically use lotteries to make more money. The more lottery tickets people buy the more the government will benefit and the economy will keep struggling.
