In America, we are struggling and fighting for reasonable wages, prices, and health insurance. U.S. citizens often get upset about hearing anything to do with health insurance and how expensive it is. One similarity that most U.S. citizens have is the fact that we struggle with is obtaining and paying for health insurance. Health insurance is very important, but yet very expensive. The U.S is sponsored by so many payers and it’s hard to maintain, which makes it rise.
There is an increase in healthcare spending in the United States. In 2014, about one of every five dollars or nearly $3 trillion dollars was spent on health. At the current rate, it is estimated that in 2020, the US will spend $13,710 per person and 20% of GDP on healthcare. The U.S. does not have a constant health care system nor universal coverage for all citizens, but has recently endorsed statutes requiring health care coverage for all people, also known as the Affordable Care Act of 2010 or Obamacare.
