This storm constructed one of the largest response and relief effort in our nation history. It brought together many different organizations from all over the country from the local, state and federal government. The response team will be able to assist the victims in the area, especially those in most need because of the areas experiencing constant swelling of water and rising floods. The rescue response teams can use devices to locate the most dangerous areas and remove victims from that area with the use of radar devices, helicopters, scouring the perimeter on foot or in a boat. National Guard is able to build first response teams before other branches of military are able to assist the areas. The police and fire rescue are also a huge help as far as information to assist the rescue teams with assessing the area. The victims in most need are able to reach safety once these rescue response teams are able to reach them faster. The possibility of individuals that are not victims of the actual hurricane could come seeking assistance when these individuals were not from or in the area once the hurricane hit. The strategy to discern between who is and who isn’t a victim of such a disaster is a must. The properly trained individuals to assist in scam discernment are necessary. An individual to assist victims with the shock or emotional trauma once they are rescued is needed
